JJACK HAS
revolutionised
multi storey building
The JJack house lifting system was developed in co-operation with a number of highly respected and experienced building partners. As a collective we discovered the biggest issues that affect the speed and cost of double storey builds are:
Scaffolding, cranes and equipment lifts increase build time and cost.
For builders, scaffolding limits site space so materials have to be delivered on specific dates rather than being stockpiled. This creates project 'chokepoints'.
Working at heights on the roof and top-floor is more expensive and dangerous
-
Traditionally multi-storey construction work is performed on scaffolds using cranes, hoists and ladders. These methods complicate the building process, create safety issues, reduce access on site, cause delays and are costly.
Scaffold restricts access on site
Builders’ hoists can be dangerous
Longer build times
It’s expensive
-
Build up to faster than conventional builds for a two storey home, or lifting an existing home or structure.
No scaffold required
No working at heights
Site visits reduced
Reduce costs
Philip Jenner, Director of JJack is the driving force behind the development of the JJack lifting system. A registered builder, he started his building career in 1989 and founded Great Living Homes in 1992 specialising in the double storey market. Since then, more than 350 double storey homes have been built using the JJack lifting system.
