lift

a new home

JJack’s innovative approach to building and lifting double and multi-storey homes in WA allows the upper floor to be built at ground level then raised to build underneath.

This ‘raise and build underneath’ method results in a more affordable build as the builder can work on the roof and upper floor, when it is easily accessible, rather than working at heights. The builder has more space to work with and shelter from the elements so that the home can be built faster and to a higher standard.

  • 1. Upper floor constructed at ground level

Building the upper floor at ground level eliminates the need for working at heights.

Without scaffolding, cranes or hoists, the upper floor can be built faster and cheaper, together with greater safety and enables a better build quality.

  • 2. Upper floor lifted into place

Using the JJacks, in just one day, the (externally completed) upper floor is lifted into place and supported.

The structural integrity which is engineered into the upper floor to enable lifting means for a highly resilient build quality with excellent rigidity.

  • 3. Ground floor is built

Once the upper floor has been supported, your builder can build your ground floor.

Our temporary braces are rated to more than 140 kph winds and tens of tonnes which means your builder can work safely in shade and out of the rain under the top floor.

case study

JJack new build lift

This beautiful home opposite the beach, in Secret Harbour comprised of 400 square metres in total. The 170 square metre upper floor was built on the ground, then lifted and supported so that construction of the ground floor could be completed underneath. Photographs and video show the final product and progress during the JJack lift.
